I have a large, waterproof tent to donate, I live half way between Gatwick and Brighton, do you have an outlet in Brighton we can take it to?

Hi everyone, Thank you for your replies. Helen - The donations will be ring-fenced specifically for the Calais Appeal and can be brought in to the St Albans community for the attention of Lin Oh. Alternatively you can call Lin on 01727 817 294 opt 3 and she will help you with arrangements for the donations. Mim - Fantastic. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday. Asim - That's brilliant. We'll see you tomorrow! Dorsetdan - "Our shops" is the St Albans cluster - so that is the St Albans, Harpenden, Hemel Hempstead, Barnet or Tring shops. If you are closer to one of the other communities, please get in touch with them directly. You can find your nearest community hereAndrea - Yes, we do have a community in Brighton, who are also making their own trips out to Calais. Please give them a call on 01273 426470 and they will be able to advise you as to what they are doing.

Hi, I hope the trip yesterday went well? I have about 12 binbags of donations here that I need to deliver somewhere this week=- can you take these at the St Albans shop now, if you have space, or can I take them to your storage somewhere? Thanks

Hiya I am planning a trip to Calais this weekend...Im guessing its prob more useful to volunteer than to take donations that may be inappropriate.
Does anyone have any top-line ideas...
Also if we take a van down which we think would be a good idea..what are the best things to take...blankets, socks, toilet paper? Old mobile phones? Any suggestions please?
Thanks Tom
